The fixed air valve is a mechanical self force device, which is suitable for the ventilation and air conditioning system which needs the fixed air volume. The air volume control of the constant air volume valve does not need additional power. It relies on the air force in the duct to locate the position of the valve, so that the airflow is maintained at the preset flow in the range of the whole pressure difference.

　　目前，在國(guó)內(nèi)，風(fēng)機(jī)盤(pán)管加新風(fēng)系統(tǒng)的空調(diào)方式還是較普遍，尤其是賓館客房部分，大部分寫(xiě)字樓、辦公樓都采用這種方式。通常做法是每層設(shè)新風(fēng)機(jī)組，走道敷設(shè)新風(fēng)干管，幾十根支管分別從總管上接入各房間。

　　一個(gè)好的空調(diào)系統(tǒng)設(shè)計(jì)，它的排風(fēng)系統(tǒng)必須很合理，而這一點(diǎn)往往得不到重視。在民用建筑特別是在高層建筑里，圍護(hù)結(jié)構(gòu)的氣密性很好，只需較少的風(fēng)量就可以維護(hù)房間的正壓值。大約新風(fēng)量的85～90%必須通過(guò)有組織的排風(fēng)排出室外，這樣才能保證送風(fēng)、排風(fēng)的風(fēng)量平衡，否則再多的新風(fēng)量也無(wú)法送進(jìn)房間。在民用建筑里，排風(fēng)一般通過(guò)衛(wèi)生間、開(kāi)水間等輔助用房排出室外。

　　在全空氣系統(tǒng)中，由于受建筑條件的影響，各支管之間阻力肯定不均衡，一般采用三通調(diào)節(jié)閥或?qū)﹂_(kāi)多葉調(diào)節(jié)閥來(lái)完成風(fēng)量分配。為保證重要房間或主要支管上的風(fēng)量不致于過(guò)大或過(guò)小，減少調(diào)試的盲目性，可適當(dāng)加設(shè)定風(fēng)量閥來(lái)取代三通調(diào)節(jié)閥或?qū)﹂_(kāi)多葉調(diào)節(jié)閥。
